Life Update
It’s been a couple of months since my last post…I’ve been a bit busy.
After 5+ years as the PR and Marketing Manager with EnerNex, the time had come to move on. I am now newly employed with the McDonnell Group as the Marketing Account Manager. McDonnell Group, based out of Atlanta, Georgia, is a full service marketing and public relations firm focused on the energy and utility industry. It’s official, my bio is on the website.
I can’t say enough great things about this agency. Not only are they hardworking, dedicated marketing and PR professionals…they are a lot of fun. So, it’s a true pleasure to work with these folks. I am working remotely for the most part, but will commute to Atlanta from time to time.
We pump out a lot of good stuff. Connect with us on social media:
We have a solid reputation in the energy space for helping our clients gain competitive advantage and long-term market leadership with powerful strategy, actionable research, dynamic branding, and creative marketing and communications programs. It’s an honor to be a part of the team.
I’m looking forward to sharing my experiences and what I’m learning. I plan to post here once or twice a month at the minimum…hopefully more.
In addition to the new position, I have recently started co-blogging about Roane County, Tennessee (where I live.) I have teamed up with the Roane County Chamber and will be blogging once a week on the sights and sounds in the area. It’s a work in progress but I am excited to see it grow. Check it out. www.myroanecounty.com
Ryan, a colleague of mine at McDonnell Group (follow her on Twitter), recently posted a blog piece highlighting a few books that I’d like to get my hands on for some professional reading. You may want to check them out as well…
