From trade show marketing and corporate presentations to social media and media relations, communicating passion is what Carrie exudes professionally every day. Currently, the Public Relations and Marketing Manager at Knoxville-based EnerNex, an engineering consulting firm, Carrie has a knack for taking technical speak and distilling it down into easy-to-comprehend content.

Energetic and strategic-minded, Carrie has five years communications management experience, overseeing PR/media relations, employee communications, social media, and brand management aspects. She’s passionate about integrating digital communication activities with proved PR methods to create communication strategies that work both for internal and external audiences.

Carrie’s eye for detail began with her love for fashion design, a passion she discusses on her personal blog, Carried Away.

She earned her BA from the University of South Carolina and is an active participant of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).  Carrie is a dedicated volunteer to the Wesley House Community Center in Knoxville and an active member of the Roane County Chamber of Commerce.
